1. Nature of the Platform
MelodyStars is an online musical competition and skill enhancement service providing participants with opportunities to showcase talent, receive feedback, and access stage performance possibilities through our partner networks.
2. Participation Fee & Platform Fee
A minimal fee is collected as a registration/participation fee, including the platform fee.
- The fee covers event organization, participant management, judges, opportunities, and platform usage.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
3. Eligibility
You must meet the eligibility requirements stated in the competition announcement and provide accurate details during registration.
4. Data Collection & Consent
We collect details like name, contact, age, gender, category, and performance recordings.
- Your performances may be showcased on our platform, social media, and partner channels.
- You grant us a license to record, display, and promote your performances for competition-related and promotional purposes.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security against breaches beyond our control.

7. Code of Conduct
- Show respect towards judges, participants, and staff.
- No offensive, defamatory, or harmful content.
- Fair play is mandatory — cheating will result in disqualification.

You retain ownership of your performances but grant us rights to use them for promotional purposes.
9. Limitation of Liability
We are not responsible for technical issues, missed opportunities, or damages arising from participation.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use means you accept the changes.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India/Karnataka and disputes will be resolved in Bengaluru courts.
